Apparently, we have had some bad luck weather wise, though, with the reputation of Houston preceding itself, it feels a bit like what we expected. Tropical Storm Beta brought 12-15 inches of rain in 24 hours and caused a great deal of street flooding. The Brays Bayou near our house filled up quickly and nearly spilled over. luckily, we didn't have any damage or power loss.
We had a small amount of flooding and the neighborhood was inundated.
