Challah!

It's fall so I felt like baking :) After taste-testing my favorite breads from Great Harvest Bread Company I decided to try my hand at one of my favorites: Challah.

No, I'm not jewish, but I love this bread so much, so I dug out the cook book and took some yeast and flour for a spin.


The result, delicious, golden brown, light and fluffy challah! I should have let it bake a few minutes longer, but my home made chicken soup was calling my name in the last moments of baking so I couldn't take it any more and I tok it out. Now, to make a little more fresh applesauce with our yummy apples from Boey to go with the bread and I've got the best afternoon snack ever! Thanks October for the chilly air to inspire some baking :)
