Mariners

After our "hike" in Sequim on Friday, we continued our labor day festivities and we got to "play" in the city with a Mariners game on Saturday!

We finally used a gift card that Tom got for Christmas to go enjoy Fleece blanket give-away night at Safeco Field.

We bought the cheap seats so that we could use our gift card to enjoy dinner at the Bullpen pub, an awesome little bar under the hand-operated score board in left field, next to the bull pens. It was outrageously over priced, but a really fun experience!

It's also home to the most unique view of the field I have ever seen.

It has these little "peep holes" so you can watch the away-team pitching staff warm up.

We sat in the restaurant for the first few innings then took our seats in the bleachers - a first for both Tom and myself. It was actually really neat to sit up high and have a view from center field.

We made it home with a free blanket and memories of a great night at the M's game (even though they lost....again....).
